Private acquisition review terms

These terms apply only to the Private Acquisition Review service offered by Absolutely Nothing. They do not replace the separate terms governing an acquisition of an edition.

One request. A personal review.

The review fee is USD 100 for one request concerning one selected private edition: Nothing, Nothing at All or Absolutely Nothing. You receive a personal assessment of the information you submit and a written response explaining whether the request can proceed to a separate acquisition agreement, whether clarification is needed, or why it cannot proceed.

This is an administrative review service. It is not an eighth edition, an acquisition, a reservation, a deposit, a membership or a financial investment. The fee is separate from the acquisition price and is not credited or deducted if an acquisition later proceeds. Payment does not guarantee approval, availability, priority over another applicant or a completed acquisition. There is no subscription or recurring charge.

Payment and your request

The review fee is paid through Shopify Checkout. After payment is confirmed, the transaction email provides a link to complete your request. Use the email address recorded on the paid order and provide its order reference. A pending payment or authorisation is not a confirmed payment. If the email is missing, contact us before paying again.

Each paid, non-refunded review fee covers one applicant's request for the selected edition. Clarifications or corrections to that same request do not require another fee. A different applicant or a different edition is a separate request; contact us before making any additional payment.

The form link is not a personal security credential. Orders and requests are matched manually, and correspondence about the review is sent to the email address recorded on the order. Submitting the form or knowing an order reference does not establish that payment has been verified. We may ask the order holder to confirm the request before reviewing it.

What happens next

We review complete requests individually after verifying payment. No fixed response time is promised. If essential information is missing or we cannot proceed with the review, we contact the email address recorded on your order. An automated payment or submission email is not the personal review response.

By submitting a new acquisition request, you ask us to begin the review once your payment and information have been verified, including during any applicable withdrawal period. This does not waive your cancellation or refund rights. We do not treat sending an early response as ending a statutory withdrawal period for this review service.

The service is completed when we have assessed the request and sent the substantive written response to the order email address. Asking for essential information does not, by itself, complete the review.

If an acquisition proceeds

The review fee remains separate from the price of the selected edition. Any later acquisition requires payment of its full agreed acquisition price; the USD 100 review fee is not an advance payment and is not deducted.

A separate written acquisition agreement and approval are required. Any reservation and its expiry must be expressly confirmed in writing. Payment of the full agreed acquisition price follows the approved bank-transfer instructions issued after that agreement. Do not send the acquisition price through the review-fee checkout.

Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel this review service for a full refund at any time before we have sent the substantive written response. We also refund the fee in full if the selected edition is no longer available before we begin the review, or if we cannot provide the review. We will not retain the fee for a review that we are unable or unwilling to perform.

Where applicable law gives you a withdrawal period, that right remains available for its full legal duration, including if we have already sent the response. For EU consumers, the usual withdrawal period for a distance service contract is 14 calendar days after the contract is concluded. A later starting date, longer period or additional right required by applicable law takes precedence. We do not deduct a charge for work performed when you exercise an applicable statutory withdrawal right for this review service.

Once the substantive response has been sent, we do not offer an additional automatic change-of-mind refund outside those rights. A refusal following an actual review does not automatically mean that the service was not provided. Mandatory rights and remedies for non-performance, misleading information, payment errors, duplicate or unauthorised charges and other protected claims remain unaffected. The absence of a fixed response deadline does not remove your rights in the event of delay or non-performance.

To cancel or report a problem, email absolutelynothing.art@gmail.com with a clear statement and enough information to identify your order. No explanation or special wording is needed to exercise a withdrawal right. Send your notice before the applicable withdrawal deadline. You may also use any online withdrawal function available on the website or any other method that must be accepted under applicable law. The review fee is never required to make a complaint or exercise a legal right.

We issue a refund due under these terms without undue delay and no later than 14 calendar days after receiving your cancellation or confirming that we cannot provide the service, or sooner if applicable law requires. Refunds use the original payment method unless another lawful method is expressly agreed without additional cost. We do not deduct administration or payment-processing fees from the full refunds promised here. There is no physical item to return.

Your information

Provide accurate contact and request details. Do not send identity documents, bank statements, payment-card details, source-of-funds records or tax documents through this form or ordinary email. If a later acquisition requires sensitive checks, a suitable process will be agreed separately.

Absolutely Nothing is the public project name of its individual operator, not a separate incorporated entity. Read the Business Information, Privacy policy, Terms and Acquisition Terms. These review-specific terms take precedence for the review service where the general acquisition wording would otherwise conflict. Nothing here excludes any protection or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
